I believe that everything we do in life, we must include our niat on it. Niat (intention) is something that we have set in our heart before we going to do something. It is depend on you whether you want your niat to be good or bad.
Nabi s.a.w bersabda: “Setiap amalan itu hanyalah berdasarkan niat” (Riwayat al-Bukhari dan Muslim).My lecturer once has asked the same question to me,
"What is your niat for today's class?"
"Do you want all the students to understand what you have taught and succesfully achieve your learning outcome?"
I never take it seriously when it comes to this matter. seriously. As a teacher, I want my students to understand what I have taught them, but I never set a niat before I enter the class, which I think I should improve from now onwards.
when it comes to relationship, I apply my lecturer's advice on the niat. My bff once told me, it's all depends on our niat. If you have a good intention, then you might have the rewards and if you don't then you have to face the consequence on what you have set in your heart. It's like the elders always said "niat pun dah sik betol, ya lah jadi macam ya"
So, if you are in a relationship now..have you ever think what is your niat in your relationship? Do you want a relationship just for being fun? or because you are damn bored-or because you want he/she (your spouse) become your future husband/wife and the relationship will end to a marriage? or Do you want the relationship because you're jealous of others relationship and you think you need one? Well, It's all depend on your niat.
